NORTH MACEDONIA

BCC MISSION WORK WITH NORTH MACEDONIA

Since 2012, BCC has been strongly linked with the national leadership team of the 'Evangelical Churches' in Macedonia.

BCC began works alongside and supports Jordan and Vesna Stoilov (Tetovo missionaries) and Emil and Vesna Puzderlievi (Struga church planters).  In 2016, we sent a couple from BCC, Eric and Lisa Petersen to plant a ministry in Dolna Matka, near to Skopje (the capital of Macedonia).

To date we have have had a total of 12 Mission trips to Macedonia, with projects including; repairing and painting a bridge, connecting the old town to the new town; installing a playground, for the disadvantaged children living in a tower block; and helping Jordan and Vesna open the Bridge Centre, a place for the small group of Christians in the town to gather.

Approximately 33% of the national population is Albanian (Muslim) located mostly in the Western side of Macedonia. There are only two church plants that are actively growing in the Albanian West; one in Tetovo and the other in Struga. The need to share the Good News is great and as a Church we want to be part of God’s amazing plan for this nation.

Our current mission focus has two core aims:

1.    Equipping local educators by providing SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) training to teachers in local schools.

2.    Sharing the gospel with the wider community as opportunities naturally arise.

Since 2025, we have been working alongside Pastor Filip Ivanov in Veles, North Macedonia, supporting SEN teachers and medical staff through practical training and ongoing relationship-building. These partnerships are growing and opening doors for both professional development and meaningful community engagement.

This mission is ideal for those who are trained and experienced in SEND education and who are passionate about combining practical service with spiritual impact.

If that sounds like you, don’t miss this opportunity to serve and make a lasting difference.
